AutoCAD Configuration for Optimizing Performance on Laptop

I already have the laptop, but I had a system 'crash' (it froze I got impatient and did a hard shutdown). Now I am looking for ways to optimize how AutoCAD runs on the laptop. 

I am doing basic 2D drafting primarily. How can I set up my AutoCad settings to be able to multitask on my laptop AutoCAD and something like chrome?

Any input is appreciated!

I do not really understand what you mean by that.

Ensuring that you have a supported display adapter and the recommended driver will help with stability. I just don't know what you mean by "multitask ... something like Chrome".
