Hi,
I have a xref with no name that's unreferenced that I can't delete/detach. I've tried to copy everything that I have to a brand new file but the xref won't go away. I only have one other xref that I frequently use in other files and I never had a problem with it. Also, I don't have blocks on this file. Can someone help delete/detach it?

Thanks a lot for posting your question to the forums! I would start by auditing the drawing and then taking a look here for potential fixes.

Try repathing it to an existing image..
Still unrefrenced and won't detach. ( I also tried to purge and audit the file again!).
Share your problem dwg file
For private reasons I cannot share the the drawings, however I decided to delete everything in the file, audit and purge it and still the unrefrenced xref won't disappear. I'm sending the file so you can see it.
I tried several things without success. As a last resort, I tried EXPORTTOAUTOCAD. It worked. I'm guessing the image is in an element within a library from a vertical product that was purged during the export process.
It worked! Many thanks
However can you explain what you mean with "library from a vertical product"?
Vertical products such AutoCAD Architectural store libraries in each file. The export gets rid of them.
