AutoCAD and point Clouds with Radio Frequency calculator

Hello

Is someone in the industry aware of a Radio Frequency (EME) Plumes generator/calculator add on for Autocad for use in a Point Cloud?

Essentially i want to have a point cloud survey and then be able to calculate in the Point Cloud and render any RF plumes that i wish so that i can examine them in the software without having to export the information into a RF calculator software.

Regards

Hi @Anonymous,

I am not aware of any products that do this inside of AutoCAD. What equipment are you currently using for this data collection? Do they have any software applications that interface with CAD or other apps?

I did some searching on the Internet and didn't come up with anything of use on this topic.

We are using a Lidar (Light Detection and Ranging) device that creates a Point Cloud that can be viewed/interacted with so long as it is able to take a .LAS file.

What i would like to do with you if possible is be connected with any AUTO CAD software engineer that would be able to discuss with me the particulars for creating an Radio Frequency calculator add on.

Hi @Anonymous,

I suggest starting by  going to the Autodesk Developer Network. There is a Community forum there and you likely get some answers there on how to get your app started.
