AutoCAD and DWGTrureview hanging up during load

I have the full REVIT suite (2014), AutoCAD Raster Design, and DWGTrueview 2014 loaded on my computer. Today I loaded AutoCAD but because of a new network change all my folders were unusable. The user next to me said she just rebooted and everything came back. I tried that and ever since then none of the programs like AutoCAD (even the viewer) hang up during the program loading stage. REVIT, Sketchbook, and Showcase all load. I am wondering if an essential file was either corrupted, moved, or erased.

Hi @Anonymous,

AutoCAD can be finicky about searching for configured network resources.  I suggest that you try a Reset Settings to Default to see if that fixes the delay you are seeing.

I would also verify that all the paths AutoCAD is trying to connect to are indeed available inside of Windows Explorer. You should also check your Internet connection per this AKN Article.

The answer was the control panel route. Thanks! I am really pleased with not only the response but the response time! You are awesome!
