Autocad and Acrobat conflicts

I am landscape architect and I recently purchased a new computer with i9 intel,  Geforce TX3080.  128 GB memory, etc.  For some reason when I run Adobe Acrobat and Autocad at the same time I have all kinds of issues.  Both programs running together slow considerably, sometimes becoming unusable.  I often have one freeze as I'm using it and need to shut programs down with control-alt-del.  Any ideas what might be causing this?

What is your OS?
What is your year version of AutoCAD as listed by ABOUT command?
And your exact Acrobat version as listed in HELP>ABOUT?

Have you tried running the AutoCAD prerequisite checker to see if it finds anything?

@Anonymous Except for Win11, most of us in our office run the same versions, no one is seeing anything like that.

In addition to the other replies, as a test, if you disconnect your PC from the web/internet/network, does the problem go away?

Thanks. I set autocad to the high performance chip.  My computer is
desktop though.  The description said that the issue was related to
graphics chips embedded in the motherboard on laptops.

Second I ran the checker.  It came back with no issues.

These things did not seem to help.

I'm trying to think of something that might cause the issue only when running together...

could you run the Windows system file checker

I think that must be something no longer used.  It only goes to 2019.  I
did put them all in a temp folder though.  Not much difference.  Still
the freezing.

@Anonymous perhaps there is more going on than you have observed/reported: how many of these articles did you go through and eliminate as the problem https://www.google.com/search?q=adobe+acrobat+slow+when+running+autocad

Otherwise... Open a support case with Autodesk if you are on subscription to seek out Autodesk Support's help: https://knowledge.autodesk.com/customer-service/account-management/users-software/support-options/we...
