HI @CAREYBUSBIN2140,
I am sorry you are having problems after the Windows update. If this just got applied you can try removing the update to see if everything returns to normal.
Another customer indicated that installing a Trial version of AutoCAD 2018 which installed A360 Desktop, corrected the issues in 2017 product. Would you consider trying this to see if it resolves the issues you are experiencing? If I understand correctly, once it was installed then AutoCAD 2018 could also be removed and 2017 continued to work properly.

Sorry, It is AutoCAD 2016 not 2017, I rolled back to 1703, same problems. Rolled forward to 1709 again and same problems. Am killed. We have 2016, 2011 and 2004. Main AutoCAD is 2016.

Hi,
>> We have 2016, 2011 and 2004
When I read here 2004, how old is the setup of that operating system?
Sometimes it makes more sense to make a new setup than to install a Windows update. I personally did never install an update from Windows from an old version to a new one... That cost a bit of time, but then you do have a fresh install without outdated drivers.

Hi @CAREYBUSBIN2140,
How are you running those older versions (2004 and 2011) on that OS? I would still suggest installing the Trial to see if it fixes your 2016. Is your AutoCAD 2016 fully up to date from your Autodesk Desktop App or from your accounts page?

They are all on different computers. The 2004 is on an XP computer. The 2011 is on an XP computer. and the 2016 is on a Windows 10 computer. We are a small shop and don't use the 2004 and 2011 versions any more. The only one we use is 2016. I have some deadlines for 3 projects and have been trying to get 2016 working again with no success. I'm going back and try to use the 2011 to finish these deadline projects. What a mess. This is costing me big time. I worked all weekend trying to fix with no success. When I try to open a sheet set in 2016 now I get "OL1" instead of the list of layouts.

Hi @CAREYBUSBIN2140,
You can try a clean uninstall and reinstall but some customers have indicated that didn't work for them.
Another option is to try a Reset settings to default.
To make sure things don't accidentally get moved to the new 2018 file format, consider downloading AutoCAD 2017 from the Autodesk Virtual Agent to see if that corrects your 2016 product. That process should only take a few minutes.

We have a perpetual license on 2016. I am not sure how to do what you are suggesting?

HI @CAREYBUSBIN2140,
Simply download the 2017 version and install it as a trial. Then, check to see if your AutoCAD 2016 is working properly. If so, remove the trial and your 2016 should continue to work properly.

Did you install the autodesk desktop app?

Try to install the latest .NET Framework

I have it running now. I tried the roll back to 1703 and it didn't work. I rolled forward to 1709 again and had the same problems with printing. Finally figured out the problem. The printing problem was common to AutoCAD and Adobe. All HP printer drivers must be updated for Windows 10. Older printer drivers will not work with 1709. Also update any programs that won't work. Once you allow Windows 10 to go to 1709 there is no turning back.
