It has been a couple years since I worked in AutoCAD, but I am having a problem with the 2026 version. I cannot draw in all the views, I checked a couple other versions, and it looks like the change happened between the 24 and 25 versions. In AutoCAD 2024 you can switch views and continue drawing without any issues however starting with the 2025 version when you switch to a different view you can't draw in any direction, it almost behaves like ortho mode is on. I tried looking it up and was seeing something about a setting that has to be changed when you change views, but this was essentially just changing the current view to the top view and messing up the orientation of the object. It also seemed like this setting would have to be updated every time you changed views. Is this the only way to draw in different views now? Is there any way to get around this and have the views behave like they did in the 2024 version?
