As the title notes, while plotting to PDF, AutoCAD 2024 crashes about 80% of the time. Are there any known fixes for this?

Are you using the builtin pdf devices to plot or a third party one?

Do a screenshot of your plot window

Also do a screenshot of About command window and share them both here

The last time this happened to be, I needed to run an audit on the file. This repaired the error that was causing the crash.

Scratch that, I needed to run an audit on an xref that was loaded by the file I was printing.

I am using the built-in DWG to PDF plotter. See below for the requested screenshot.

see if it makes a difference installing the latest update which should be:

Your 2024.1 is not current: 2024.1.2 is the latest.

Try a different PDF driver: 2024 is bundled with 5-total. You might as well rule that out too.

RECOVERALL command will take care of XREFs and your top file too, just remember to QSAVE each of those files right afterwards.

Thanks all. I'm trying to use the same printer driver as I'm doing a batch plot and don't want to change the page setup for every single CAD file. I'll update the software and hope that will help. Thanks all.

Here is how to open a support case with Autodesk if you are on subscription to seek out Autodesk Support's help too:

Thanks. If all else fails, I'll follow these directions.
