AutoCAD 2023 - Highlight when selecting objects

My selected object highligh effect is lost, how do I get it back

I have this problem with Autocad 2023. Autocad version 2021 is fine, I uninstalled and reinstalled autocad 2023 but the problem is still not resolved

i want it like this:

You should just use a Reset to default tool instead of reinstalling.

So you never had that in 2023? In that case it's a graphics issue. Make sure have the latest GPU driver.

I have reset before but it still not resolved. Recently there is some automatic driver update of intel GPU, will it cause this error?

I turned HW acceleration OFF and it seems to have gone back to the original, but the drawing looks really bad now :((

see if you can go back to the previous intel GPU driver before the update
