AutoCAD 2022: “Zoom All” command fails to bring the sole drawing at the middle of the screen,

Despite the fact that there is one drawing in the dwg file, the “Zoom All” command fails to bring it at the middle of the screen.

What could be the issue here?

The dwg file is attached

Hi,

Just about the picture and know:

There is something near to the layout tab.

1. Make sure all layers are turn ON,

  (It's okay in your file)

2. Check those objects you don't know about.

     CTRL+A or SELECT ALL

While pressing Shift, deselect your Sole by using a WINDOW selection (left to the right) or object selection method W.

Now, take a look into your properties palette CTRL+1.

Or try to Zoom to it.

Select all objects except the Sole

Command: SELECT all remove window <select Sole>.

Start Zoom Object previous.

1000 ways to check your drawing.

Hi,

Zoom ( all ) .. Zooms to display all visible objects and visual aids.. Adjusts the magnification of the drawing area to accommodate the extents of all visible objects in the drawing, or visual aids such as the grid limits (the LIMITS command), whichever is larger.

Click on below image to see how after cleaning drawing and change the lower/upper for the drawing limits , zoom (all) will works fine .

Right. Ctrl+A command gets all selected amongst some objects under the main drawing. However,

  • as I wanted to select these objects, nothing is selected.
  • as I zoomed to them, they are invisible. Nothing is displayed in the screen

Then how to get them selected to get them deleted?

Sometimes the simple basics are one of the difficult parts 😄

>>Then how to get them selected to get them deleted?

As i wrote,

select all objects Ctrl+A and deselect your Sole objects by Window selection.

I wrote several ways an one 1:1 descripton.

CTRL+A

Hold SHIFT and select your sole objects again by window selection from left to the right.

😞
