AutoCAD 2022 vs GeForce graphics - freezing and crashing

Anonymous
Not applicable

Hi everyone,

I am getting really desperate here because ever since I have installed AutoCAD 2022 and updated my Quadro M2000 via GeForce experience software (normal NVidia driver refuses to install), my AutoCAD does strange and extremely annoying things in the following sequence:

1) the graphics flicker

2) the model space freezes on one of the projects (2D or 3D), but I can still use the tabs and switch between the project windows (the model space does not change)

3) all of AutoCAD freezes

4) my whole computer freezes

I did everything that is suggested by Autodesk to resolve the issue, but it seems that nothing works.

None of this happens while working with Archicad and Twinmotion which are very heavy on graphics, especially while rendering.

Could you, please, give me some insight on what could be the cause and possible solutions?

Thank you!
