AutoCAD 2022 - Adding text to dim won't center text between dim lines

Ever since my company updated CAD to 2022, whenever I modify a dimension to add text below, the added text extends into the dim lines.  None of the settings on the files have changed.  The dimstyle text placement is at Centered for both Vertical and Horizontal.  Yet, as you can see, the center point of the text prior to the update is at the actual center.  After the update, the center point is showing as only the center of the dimensions and not the text  under it.  How do I get the text to center again?

Problem:

Correct text placement before update:

There are a few things you should try..

1. -Open dimension style, Text Tab.

-Select Fill Color.

-Change to (None).

2. Or, If you go to your dimension style and go to the Fit tab and select 'Always keep between ext lines'

Thanks and Regards,

1. There was no text background in either screenshot.

2. This did not correct the issue.

I believe the issue is that for some reason the text is still being centered on the dimensions only and not the dims and text as shown in the screenshot of how it was working prior to the 2022 upgrade.

Hi,

I suggest to try from DDIM command >> Select the correct style >> Modify >> Fit tab .... Now try with Fit options and/or Text placement . If not Fixed, please share with us a CAD drawing sample that just contain a dimension sample?

Note: when you change any setting from the Fit tab and close the Dimension Style Manager .. go for Dimension tab and select from the menu Update command as shown below.
