AutoCAD 2022.1 and AutoCAD LT 2022.1 Updates are now available, learn more about the updates here. Launching today with AutoCAD 2022.1, you get access to My Insights in AutoCAD. My Insights strengthens the partnership between technology and designers to drive better outcomes, faster. It is an advisory engine that utilizes your individual product usage data to deliver personalized insights with the goal of helping you speed up work and become more proficient with AutoCAD. Is this only available in plain AutoCAD?

I've just updated my AutoCAD Mechanical and there is no Insights link in the bottom left list.

That is correct, at this moment My Insights is only available in base AutoCAD with the new update.
