Autocad 2021 using threads

Hi there. I'm using autocad 2021 and I'm trying to put internal threads in my part on my layout. I've tried Right clicking in the view, select Edit View --> Display Options -->then thread feature but nothing happens. is there something im missing???? please help.

Are you using plain (vanilla) AutoCAD 2021 or are you using AutoCAD Mechanical?
