Hello

I am very new to the Forum and Community. I have search for a while for some sort of answer regarding my issue but I am unable to find anything so hopefully someone can help me here.

I am not professional at AutoCad but also not beginner.

The Issue I have is in my understanding issue with references or constraints but I could be wrong or not even close.

I work with Creo -> Autocad -> Corel Draw  PNG

3D Model in Creo 4.0 and export to DWG , apply some scales , layers, etc etc and Copy the image to Corel with basic Copy and Paste or import function.

When I copy the image/drawing to Corel it seems that some of the objects are filled with circles or circles show up in random areas of the image.

I have tried to use new template / new image but that didn't fixt it, I have tried certain functions/commands such as  PARAMETERCOPYMODE, PASTESPEC, CONSTRAINTSETTINGS and few other but that didn't help.

Here are few example's of AutoCad and PNG

Corel  Circles around object with number 6 box,

At this point I am not even sure what to type in Google or Forum to find solution to this.

Exporting / Plotting the image doesn't work in my case as I need to export it to PNG and Scale it down and it seems that Corel and Illustrator at the only 2 programs that work for me.

Thanks in advance.

@bart.marcinek

Are you familiar with the command QSELECT?

If so, try to QSELECT and delete all points. But if not, I can help you out.

It's easier to find a solution when a dwg is posted, to check if the issue lies on the dwg or even your softwares.

HI @jotaferrer Thanks for reply.

I have tried it just there with multiple selection options and unfortunately circles still show up there.

Here is the image from Corel

Here is DWG.

I will also attach it in the top Post.

I see... Did you try to create a new file in Corel and import that dwg directly?

Yes I did multiple times.

Also I am 995 sure that this is AutoCad because if I bring the drawing DWG to Word document these circles are also visible.

Probably is, because I did import your dwg to corel but none of those circles were found...

Are there any specific options in your profile in AutoCad that may be different ?

I had 2017 recently at it was all fine after an upgrade these circles showed up.

Probably not, but...

Turn off Defpoint layer...

Set PDMODE & GEOMARKERVISIBILITY to 0;

Set WHIPARC to 1;

Also, give a try increasing the VIEWRES to 20000. Note that it can make your dwg slower so try a lower value that matches there.

Did you change de View Resolution? If not, you can access it on "Display" tag inside Options.

Set the value of "circle and arcs smoothness to 20000 or above.

Thanks for the options. I have tried it and that also didn't work. I have VIEWRES on 20K as a standard on all of my drawings.

But I think I found a solution so far it worked on 3 drawings.

I realized that when Hardware Acceleration is OFF it didn't show/display circles. SO I played with differents ettings , changing 2D settings and 3D settings. Then I though I will lower the level of 2D Settings to Intermediate Mode from Advance even though I know graphic card in here is pretty advance and with good Vram.

After changing it to Intermediate Mode and moving slider to only 1 - Video Memory Caching Level it seems that Circles disappeared.

I don't really understand why or how higher caching level would Couse it but it fixed it, didn't lose any quality so I am not sure here.
