I Installed 2021 yesterday, and I can't print or preview drawings.

I am running windows 10, the printer is an HP Designjet T120

Start PAGESETUP command and create the plot parameters you and first perhaps?
"can't" does not tell us much otherwise, you'll need to better explain the problem: we are plotting just fine here.

I opened a drawing and made a new layout.

Went to page set up manager and set up the page to a Brother laser printer. Printed with no problems.

Changed to HP office jet printer, and printed same page with no problems.

Change same layout to the design jet, and page size to a C size, and printed with no problems.

I then went to a layout I have created in 2020, went to the page set up manager and set it up to print to a D size sheet.

Control P to print, Plot window came up. Clicked on preview, plot window disappeared, and came back up right away. No print preview.  Clicked ok button to print, plot window disappeared, and nothing.  I went to the printer and opened the queue, and it was empty.

I checked the settings in both layouts and they are both the same.

I can print if I make a new layout, just not any created in 2020.  I guess it's not the end of the world.

Are 2020 and 2021 using different PC3 file?

I do not know how to check that.

I'm having similar issues when trying to print using a couple of different paper sizes here as well (Arch D and Arch E1,). I guess the removal of the Optimized drivers from AutoCAD 2021 has other unintended consequences not present with the preceding AutoCAD version, and under the same computer and network environment/settings.  Paper sizes are missing, page orientation plots opposite from what is seen as correctly displayed on the preview window, pressing the preview windows doesn't really show the preview (it just comes back to the plot window). I even had to print to PDF and then plot to our HP T920 if we want to produce a hard copy for office use until I'm able to figure out the most efficient settings to change to make it work for us.

Same problem with HP DesignJet 500. Optimized drivers removed by Autodesk in AutoCAD 2021 caused plotting to be broken. Paper sizes missing. Previews not accurate. I reported this to Autodesk several months ago. They presented workarounds like plot to PDF or print using AutoCAD 2020. Have not heard back from Autodesk since. Waiting for the first Hotfix or Service Pack for 2021.

Go to hp.com and make sure you have the latest driver.

Other applications on the same machine, such as Acrobat and AutoCAD 2020 (or previous versions), can print fine without the need of "latest drivers".

The latest driver solved my HP plotter problem for me but I guess you can ignore that and just keep on struggling with it because it 'should' work.

"Latest drivers" is not an universal solution; it has not worked for me.

And you are right, I could've chosen to ignore it and kept on struggling with it. After all, it is my choice.

I am having the same issue with my designjet 500 no paper sizes and when I try to plot, it keeps creating a new pc3 file ending in card, then carda then cardaa, etc. it keeps adding an "a" every time.

Still no resolution that I know of to this matter. Autodesk says to use AutoCAD 2020 for plotting. I paid for AutoCAD 2021 and would like to use it exclusively instead of switching back and forth between releases. They also say to create a PDF and plot that. Just not the solution I'm looking for - all workarounds. The latest HP drivers are from 2013 and work fine in AutoCAD 2020. For now, I've abandoned AutoCAD 2021.
