Autocad 2019 vs Plant 3d

Anonymous
Not applicable

Hello,

I use Plant 3d to design my piping projects. Recently my company is going to start designing HVAC. for this we are considering REVIT. Few days back, I saw Autocad 2019 came out which has many tool sets including plant 3d. Now my question is, will I be able to change specs as Plant 3d has spec editor to change catalogs and specs in Autocad 2019 ?

Thanks in Advance

The Plant3D that is the toolset is the full version the same as you are using now. I believe they  still have autocad 2019 without the toolsets and then with. All the toolsets have all the functionality of the original.

Hi @Anonymous

The only thing you will have to do is migrate your existing project from 2018 to 2019.

Apart from that it should be ok.
