AutoCAD 2019 hangs when trying to open a specific file. Loading Modeler DLLs....

I have a problem with a dwg file and all older versions and back ups of the same file.

When opening it gets as far as loading modeler dlls and then hangs with the wheel spinning. I have tied to open previous versions of this file and also .bak & .sv$ versions and the same happens to all of them. This is a big problem as it is a live drawing that is still being worked on. I have also tried opening these on other machines and it does the same thing and so i know its not an issue with my autoCAD software and so would not be resolved with a software reinstall or repair

Does anyone know a solution to this issue?

Is there a way to get autoCAD to skip loading the modeler dll's?

The drawing is a 2D drawing.

Thanks for any help received.

Hello Sahunt,

Welcome to the AutoCAD forum.

I was able to download and open your file.

I did run an AUDIT and found two errors.

I suggest you AUDIT the file and ALL the references.

I have attached the corrected file (AutoCAD 2018).

Many thanks Valentine

Unfortunately I still have the same issue so that leads me to believe the problem is with out IT system rather than the file itself I will keep on trying to find a solution.
