Shows how to change this value via the registry for AutoCAD 2023 and it works great, however, that registry location is missing for AutoCAD 2018. I found similar locations for AutoCAD 2018 just by digging around the registry, however, they change back to whatever settings were set by the UI previously when firing up CAD... Any ideas?
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\AppDataLow\Software\Autodesk\AutoCAD\R24.2\CoreUser\0FC61B838D5E0F6B\AutodeskApps\AcadDC\History\DesignCenter\Last State\Set as Home
works for AutoCAD 2023.
the closest thing I found (looks identical actually) for AutoCAD 2018 is
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Autodesk\AutoCAD\R22.0\ACAD-1001:409\AutodeskApps\AcadDC\History\DesignCenter\Last State\Set as Home
but it doesn't work. Any ideas as to how I can change it without right clicking & set as home?
The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results
