Hello all,
I'm trying to figure out how to label my drawing with alternate metric dimensions within brackets. I used the command DIMSTYLE and clicked modify. This is how I chose Engineering units for ft-in. But I went to the alternate tab and could not find an option for metric units. Any idea how I can display alternate metric units in brackets, following my primary units?
My current imperial units are in feet-inches.
Any help is appreciated.
Solved! Go to Solution.
st click the dimension like you are going to edit it and go all the way to the end of it and just put in the brackets. it will put in the conversion for you.

Very cool @TheCADnoob! Never knew adding brackets did it.
The OP should also note that the Modify Dimension Style gui within the Dimension Style Manager has a tab for Alternate Units.
That provides the same but makes it part of a style. If it is not desired on all dimensions then he/she should create a new style for this behavior.
Cheers,
Blaine
