AutoCAD 2018/2019 multiple unhandled access violation

Hi,

I have a problem with AutoCAD 2018 and 2019 on my PC. Whenever I open either of the programs I get a different "unhandled access violation reading" every time. 

So far I've had Undandled Access Violation Reading 0x0008 Exception at B18C08B8h

Undandled Access Violation Reading 0x0048 Exception at 3fa48656h

Undandled Access Violation Reading 0x0048 Exception at 80fe86f6h

Undandled Access Violation Reading 0x0048 Exception at 81008656h

Undandled Access Violation Reading 0x0008 Exception at D0A008B8h

I've updated graphics drivers and also reinstalled both programs. No changes have been made to the GPU or anything else on the system recently. Any ideas?

Hi,

do you have any 3rd party apps/plugins working in AutoCAD?

what happens when you create a new Windows user account, login with that account, start AutoCAD ... working now?

Hi Alfred,

We don't use any plugins with our versions of CAD.

I logged in with a separate (domain) account and both versions are working properly. Do you reckon it may be some leftover files or something similar on the other account that's causing the issue?

In that case that looks like the user-content for AutoCAD is incorrect (AutoCAD profiles).

You can try these steps for resetting the profile and see if it works then >>>click<<<
