AutoCAD 2017 Layer Properties Filter

Hi, has anyone issue with the Layer properties filter in Autocad 2017?

The property box is not visible so one cannot apply any filter. You can type in the name (without seeing the box) and the filter appears but you cannot open the filter itself.

It's working fine here.  It sounds like the Layer Filter Properties dialog is just "off your screen".

It's pretty easy to get back, follow the steps here.

Hi,

my guess would be the dialog is eihter off-screen or behind any of the existing windows.

Try:

  • <ALT><SPACE> ==> a context menu should appear
  • use cursor keys <DOWN> until the option "Move" is selected
  • press <ENTER>
  • use cursor keys <LEFT> or <RIGHT> until the layer property window is visible, then you can use the mouse to posiition the window with a <MouseLeftClick>
