Hi,

disconnect your system form network, unplug all USB-storagedevices (and other storage types if there are any plugged in), turn off antivirus software, then start the installer with admin permissions again.

And just to make sure. this statement might need 2-4 minutes, so keep quite a bit 😉

Hi,

create a new user, give that user admin permissions, turn off UAC, login with that account and start again.

Which operating system do you use?

Hi,

>> I am on the domain.

So you are connected to the network? Not what I suggested.

You might try to redownload the package from >>>Autodesk Virtual Agent<<< to make sure that you have a complete setup package.

Hi @Anonymous,

I am going to jump in on this thread to see if I can add anything of value.  I was looking up the problem in the AKN and ran across this article.

Using the Shortcut and running it as administrator seems to work. I would be interested if this resolves the issue for you too.

HI @Anonymous,

I see that you are visiting as a new member to the AutoCAD forum. Welcome to the Autodesk Community!

Did you look at the article I had attached previously? If not, I suggest you try using the Autodesk Virtual Agent to get a download. You can then rt-click on the file that is downloaded and Run as Administrator.

I am having this issue with a 2018 install using a deployment package my re seller created.  The package worked on 20 other machines.  I tried running the deployment package as an admin with no luck.  The link to the article you mentioned is broken, can you attach it again?

Thanks.

Hi @Anonymous,

The link I share was to the virtual Agent (not an article).

Let me know if you would like me to move your discussion to the Installation and Licensing board.

No need, it was an issue with the installer not the installation.

Thank you though.
