Autocad 2015 Toolbars are everywhere -- how to get rid of them

I have just started using AutoCad 2015 and was trying to get the toolbar that is normally in the lower right of my screen, the one that has scale and ortho settings, etc, because right now there isn't anything down there. So in the type-in box, I typed in: -toolbar, and selected 'all'. Oops. Now I have Toolbars EVERYWHERE that are teeny-tiny icons. I can't see anything on my ribbon to undo my mistake, because it is entirely cluttered with tiny icons for toolbars all over.
My other problem is that in the box where you type in instructions, the font is HUGE. I went into there and changed the font to '9' but it is still huge. So big in fact that you can't see the drawing you are trying to create, only the list of instructions in sequence.
Problem: teeny tiny icons that make up toolbars everywhere. no toolbar for the scale and ortho, etc. Huge font size in the type-in .
It's obvious that I am a beginner, so if someone would be so kind to spell out what I am doing wrong and help me fix this I would be grateful. I really can't understand a lot of fancy terms.
