AUTOCAD 2015 - RCP FILE

IS THERE A WAY TO LOCK THE POSITION OF THE RCP POINT CLOUD FILE SO IT CAN NOT MOVE AND STILL BE ABLE TO CROP THE SCAN DATA VIEW?

The problem is that when the point cloud layer is locked - you can not crop or modify the point cloud to be able to work with the data.

when you unlock the point cloud - then you can crop and work with the data - but it is also free to be moved around (bad if it is the background for your design).
