Autocad 2015 Pallet docking

I can't seem to keep my palettes from showing up every time I open a drawing. I have the palettes docked to the left side and hidden but when I open a drawing they fill my screen and I have to auto hide them every time. It used to open up with these palettes on the left with the tabs showing only but for some reason it's not working anymore. Any ideas on this?

Have you saved the workspace after chaging it?

or do you have automiaticaly save workspace changes set?

.... or are you closing/reopening AutoCAD every time you "open" a file?

Yes, saved work space and it still does it. As long as I have a drawing
open and open another it works fine. But, if I close all drawings and open
another the palettes show up again.

Just opening a new file not closing Autocad.

In case you didn't know... Instead of "hard-docking" the palettes as they will lock up the usable screen space, you can "soft dock" them by holding the Ctrl key while dragging them into place.  Then use auto-hide, then save that Workspace (as suggested by @TheCADnoob).

Im not sure it is the solution for you but it does mention that third party palettes are not controlled by CAD workspaces. Its a little dated but that might explain it if the same still holds true. If its the case you may be able to find where the third party pallet setup info is being stored and change it there.

Thanks for all the suggestions as I tried them all and it is still
happening. I did go into NVidia settings and center dialog was not checked.
It does appear the palettes are still located where I docked them but I
have to hit the auto-hide button every time I open a drawing. As long as I
hit the auto-hide button to hide them again I can continue opening drawings
and it works fine.; But, when all drawings are closed (not ending Autocad)
and I open another drawing, the same thing happens. Weird!
