AutoCAD 2014 - Quick access toolbar missing

Hello, wondered if anyone could help with this - my quick access toolbar appears to have disappeared, have checked back through some previous threads on this but have not found a solution that works, have even tried reinstalling, but it still remains absent.

Any help/ suggestions are much appreciated.

Is it just missing from the workspace or is it missing from the program?

At the command line type CUI a dialog will appear, top left quad choose your current workspace, top right box click Customize workspace

Top left quad expand out quick access toolbar and make sure there is a check on it.

Top right quad click done

Click ok at the bottom

can you share some screenshots or a screencast of what you are seeing?

The farthest back I can test is 2015, but here is a screencast of the steps I provided:

What happened that might have caused this? did you (or automatically by windows) by chance update a video card driver, and OS update etc.

Try this:

Command "-TOOLBAR" "TOOLBAR NAME OR SELECT ALL".

- Select "Accept as Solution" if it has solved the problem. This will help other users to find an answer.

That is for regular toolbars. The QAT is different and this does not apply.

Select a different workspace then comeback to your workspace, does it re-appear?
If not, CUI command
Select your workspace
in the right pane, do you see QAT listed under WORKSPACE CONTENT?

Hello - yes under each workspace QAT is still listed in the content, but remains invisible for some reason.

have all the tools been removed from the QAT, so it is actually there, but blank?  a screenshot of what you see in your CUI editor would go miles for helping us to get you a solution.

Thank you, that is helpful.  try editing your workspace, remove the qat, click done, then ok.   then go back in and add it back in again.

Sorry - possible stupid question - how do I remove it? It says to check the options to add to the workspace, but there are no boxes to check. Included another screen grab.

From that window, click the plus on the quick access tool bar on the left side and uncheck the box.  I believe you can also right click on an element in the top right quadrant and select an option to remove it

I'm not sure if it is available in 2014, but if it is, I recommend reset to defaults.
