AutoCAD 2011 registration

I represent the Municipality of Rincon, External Resources Office. I installed AUTOCAD 2011 on this PC a couple years ago. this program has not been used frequently. recently I have tried to use it and Autodesk is making me to install the program again. I,ve forgot the user  and password for the first installation. Now if i try to re-register Autodesk does,nt recognized the serial number for the product. i have tried to contact a living soul in the Autodesk Contact US site, but there,s ever an automated response. Its there somebody live in that company who I can talk to. Jose

Joe they don't live there, they work there and they hide their phone number.

All you can do is send them questions or chat and get replies later.

Thanks. I now they don,t live there. The reseller told me to contact Autodesk. Let see if they answer something reasonable. Poor society every day we loose the opportunity to interactuate with a human.

Its the job of your reseller to facility contact with AutoDesk, helping to resolve licensing problems.  The only way they should be telling you to contact AutoDesk directly is if you don't have a contract with them (or are unwilling to start one).  If thats the case and you don't have a support contract with AutoDesk you may be out of luck for direct support.

In general, if your serial number won't authorize an older release of software then that means it was upgraded to a newer release at some point, and you're no longer authorized to run that release.  You'll need to identify which releases you are entitled to run (check your records) or purchase the latest release.
