AutoCAD 2011 not responding

Hello, my AutoCAd 2011 is not responding when I try to open the programme  - the IT team has spent 2 days on it now, re-installed the software- but no luck.

I am on Windows 7 and haven't changed/updated anything at all on the system - one day CAD was working fine, and next day - it won't even lead...Any suggestions will be most welcome! Many thanks!

Uninstall DROPBOX and see if that helps.

Thank you! I have checked & I don't have Dropbox installed. I could try to install the Updates 1.1 & 2...?

If nothing was changed then AutoCAD's state also would not have changed (and it would work).

What you can try:

• create a new Windows user on your system, give that user admin permissions, login with that account, turn off antivirus and see if AutoCAD works then
• if not, then again with that new account: disconnect AutoCAD from network, so it can not find a local network, network printers, and internet ... try it again
• set the switch to disable hardware acceleration (>>>details<<<) and start AutoCAD now without hw-acceleration

Let's know about the results of the above suggestions.
