AUTOCAD 2009 LICENSE SERVER UPGRADE

Dear All

I have a AutoCAD 2009 network License installed on a Windows 2003 Server R2 SP2 server.

It is already virtualized and no issues with that, I have the clients connecting to it for network license information.

However, as the lifecycle for Windows Server 2003 is about to come to an end, I would like to upgrade it to Windows Server 2012 R2 or Windows Server 2008 R2.

Please advice me with the steps and considerations that need to be taken care of.

Regards

Sree

Hi @Anonymous Welcome to Autodesk Community!

This you might want to check Microsoft website. This page could be of help: Windows Server Installation and Upgrade. Check the details for Windows Server 2012 R2, Windows Server 2012, and Windows Server 2008 R2.

Thanks for your reply @lynn.zhang

However, my query is, if i upgrade the OS from Windows Server 2003 R2 to Windows Server 2008 R2 or Windows Server 2012 R2, will there be an issue with the Autodesk 2009 network license?

if so, what are the steps that I need to take for the Autodesk License migration in that case.

Please advice..
