Hi,

is it unique in the attribut values?

Then use FIND &replace.

Otherwise, use ATTOUT edits with Excels and ATTIN

You can also use our JTB BatchAttEdit, export to Excel, do your find and replace and import back.

It is not unique to attribute values; it's within the additional format window after the Field box. Thank you for the suggestion jtbworld. I thought that this could/should be answered by AutoCAD and not have to purchase an outsource program to resolve.

Autodesk usually don't reply here to questions.

You can always do it manually with no other apps but sometimes you can do things quicker with help of other apps.

Can you send a screenshot indicating what you want to change and where?

Go to the 'additional window' and clear the part you want to delete. Or if it's a dropdown, select 'none' from the dropdown list. Click OK.

I'm aware of where to go to change or delete the Suffix. My question was/is if it was possible to do a global change all the blocks so that I don't have to go into each attribute one by one to change it.

No, not possible because the suffix is part of the field.

There is no global command that will modify a field because, by definition, a field varies from instance-to-instance, or from block-to-block.

It would be possible to create a custom command that does what you look for but it is not possible out-of-the-box. If you have really many you need to change it might be a ROI to have it created. If so, feel free to contact us directly. See our website under contact.

Thank you for the offer. I'll keep it in mind. For now, I'll stick to simply omitting the suffix to begin with.
