Asus Zenbook Pro Duo laptop for AutoCAD

I like the idea of this laptop, with the second smaller screen above the keyboard. But I wanted to ask about its qualifications before I drop $3k on it!

This is what I'm looking at

Will that NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 graphics card work well with AutoCAD?

Its not on the list of certified graphics cards, but there are some other RTX cards that are certified.

I appreciate any insight!

Hi @CharlesF5B37

I think the laptop you are looking at will work great with AutoCAD, no matter if you are using it for 3d or 2d drafting.
RTX 3060 is a great GPU so don't worry about that. It is quite a new video and if there are any issues, developers will quickly sort them out.

Graphics Card should work well. Question is, does the Asus Duo support Autocad features on the secondary touch screen or make it customizable for Autocad. If you have purchased it please let us know, because it has the potential of being a great Autocad/Modeling laptop feature.

I did buy it, and tried to setup it to use the secondary screen for Autocad palletes. But it was really finicky, formatting was funny and overall just wasn't what I hoped it could be, so fortunately I was able to return the laptop.
