Arctext not plotting with Publish Command

Hello, since the AutoCAD 2022 update earlier this year any arctext content just displays as a box if I plot with the Publish function. It comes out fine if I plot layouts individually, but that is very inefficient and our office needs to publish all at once. I have not found any references to anyone else having this issue on any forums. I once uninstalled and reinstalled CAD from our original download content which solved it for awhile until it automatically updated again >.<

Never seen that before: this happens in ALL files or just this one? For all of you running R2022 or just a few?

Share your DWG file here please, we all are running R2022.1.2 with no ARCTEXT issues like that.

Publish in foreground too, or only by background publishing?

Thank you, I had Publish in Background selected and removing that to publish in foreground worked.

I am still confused why the change because I have always used Publish in Background prior to this and never had that problem.

It was happening to any file with arctext, not only that one. I cannot share the files as they are since they are seals from my workplace. I tried setting publish to foreground based on another suggestion and that is working correctly for now.

@MaryCaldera background publishing may not be loading Express Tools first, a requirement to see ET content like ArcText.

Glad you shared your solution with us: no one in our offices uses background publishing, a bunch of control-freaks that need instant results 😉
