Hi. I just opened my Autocad LT in Autocad student version and now all circles and arc are jagged and not curved - i just viewres, regen, regenall etc .. and its fixed in the modeltab but not in layout - how do i get my curved lines back?
@Anonymous,
At Command prompt, type VIEWRES.
Reply "Yes" to fast zooms.
When prompted for "circle zoom percent", the default value should be 1000. If not, try a value of 1000.
Do the arcs and circles look better?
Older versions of AutoCAD used a default value of 100. Most PCs in the last 10 years can handle a VIEWRES value of 1000. Caution though, too high of number will give negligible visual improvement and slow AutoCAD performance.

@Anonymous,
When in a paper space layout, type REGENALL at the command prompt. REA is the default shortcut name.
Does that smooth the arc/circle appearances?
You can also check this setting:
OPTIONS
System Tab
Layout Regen Options
Also, AutoCAD performs a REGEN operation before plotting. Although you may see jagged arcs/circles on screen, they should be smoothed before plotting. Please test this on your system.
