ANNOTATIVE CALLOUT BUBBLE

I've searched for this issue without finding a thread on it.  I'm using AutoCAD's annotative callout bubbles - the section callout.  When I fix the tail to an appropriate length in the enlarged 1/2" scale viewport, on the overall 1/8" scale view, the tail is super long.  Why is this not relative?

Ooh...another major problem: I need the callout text to match that of my standard font.  When I edit the callout block and make the text "Annotative," it disappears.  When I make it Standard, it becomes tiny.  The only way that it looks alright is if I leave the text as the default block "Tahoma."

Help!!

STYLE command settings for the text style in use along with your CANNOSCALE setting determine how text sizes are best displayed. We use a text size of 3/32" for our annotative text styles for example.

Simply changing it to "annotative' does not automagically make everything work. Try it.

Thanks.  My question regarded the tail and why if it's placed at an appropriate length in one scale, why doesn't it appear so much longer in another viewport scale.  And then about the text, when I change the font of the text within the block, it does not work.  Why?  It either becomes missing or is super tiny or super huge (72" large).  The only font that seems to work is the one that came with the block from Autocad.... Tahoma.

Those blocks' attributes are defined with TAHOMA text style (and that font): if you want to change the text style that is used you must match the TAHOMA text style definition exactly 100%. But then you will need to create your own symbols library and start grabbing the blocks from there, not from the source Autodesk provided.

I FIGURED OUT THE ISSUE WITH THE VARIOUS SCALES AT THE TAIL OF THE SECTION BUBBLE NOT APPEARING IN RELATIVE LENGTH.  I DECIDED TO ADD THE SECTION MARK IN THE ENLARGED VIEW AND IN THE OVERALL VIEW INDIVIDUALLY AND THEN THE TAIL LENGTH IS APPROPRIATE.

I WONDER IF YOU MIGHT POINT ME TO AN AREA THAT EXPLAINS CREATING NEW CALLOUTS.  I SAVED THE READ-ONLY ANNOTATION IMPERIAL FILE TO MY JOB FOLDER AND I MODIFIED THE CALLOUT BUBBLE.  I REPATHED A COPY THAT I MADE IN THE TOOL PALETTE BUT IT IS STILL SHOWING THE DEFAULT SYMBOL.  SO ANNOYING.  I NEED A CALLOUT THAT IS JUST A CIRCLE BUT HAS TEXT FOR BOTH DETAIL NUMBER AND PAGE NUMBER....

Hi,

I have been trying to match the call out with my standard .but I couldn't .I have to give new call out or i could only change the number or lines by using match properties. I want to match the text with the lead line and space. Could any one tell me the suggestion??
