Animation Help in AutoCAD 2013

Hey everyone,

So I am going a plating project in standard AutoCAD 2013 at work and want to animate the process. I have each step in the process already drawn in 3d and on different layers that I can turn on and off as a slideshow, but is there a way to animate the growth of the metals and the entire procedure without me manually going in and turning the layers on and off?

Also, can I do this for multiple views at the same time, like with different camera angles?

There is no such ability in AutoCAD.

Yeah I kinda figured that, I've been looking all over the menus and haven't seen anything. I probably would need "MAYA" for that wouldn't I?

3DSMAX would be a smoother import (it's also including in many of the Suites and Collections).  Navisworks Simulate may be a bit easier to work with.  The animation tools are much more basic, but it's an excellent middle ground, especially if you have mixed content from different sources.
