I have to create a drawing in an Imperial temple and then dimension it with alternate metric units. But they want the metric on the top line and the imperial below in brackets. I cannot find anything in the dimensions dialogue box that allow me to do this. The only options for the alternate units is after or below (which I guess is why they are the alternate as opposed to primary), but I need the metric before the imperial.
Anyone know if this is possible without getting into scaling geometry, etc? I just need to know if there is a way to do it inside the imperial drawing.
Never mind...I figured it out. In case anyone runs into this, keep the drawing as an imperial drawing, make a new dimension style and choose decimal as the primary units, and 25.4 as the Measurement Scale factor. Then under Alternate units, select Architectural and change the multiplier for all units to 0.03937.
