All the arrayed objects get hidden

Lately, the objects I have been arraying are starting to disappear, though they are still present in the drawing.

As soon as I hit the array command, all the objects except the sources is visible, along with the control handles, but once I click off(esc) the command, all the objects disappear.

Hi @Gangula2,

Is this array issue happening in more than one file?  Is there a sample you can share?

Have you tried changing settings in your GRAPHICSCONFIG to see if it affects the display?

It appears that the problem is only in one file, and it's successive(save as) files. I've shared the sample.

I've tried switching hardware acceleration off. Still the result seems to be the same.

Hi @Gangula2,

The file you attached only has the one object in it (LWPolyline).

Capture.PNG

When I use ARRAY and select it the array seems to be fine. Perhaps I am not understanding what you are seeing. IS it worth your time to prepare a Screencast for me?

If it's happening in only one file, start a new file, INSERT the old drawing into the new one (remember to explode, then purge after inserting). Once the model space has been inserted use the Design Center (CTRL+2) to import the layout from the old drawing to the new one. Now you should have an identical dwg file but should be working properly.

HI @Gangula2,

If the array still isn't working for you try moving the model content to a new file and try it there to see if it has been fixed.

Hi, I have exactly the same problem and this re-occurs in a number of drawings - its something that has started happening since intelligent arrays have been used as I quickly noticed it leaping from 2012 to acad 2019.

Changing the hardware acceleration had no effect 😞

My solution was to copy the array to one side delete the hidden one and then move the copied one back to the

original position!!!!!!

Come on Autodesk this is not acceptable!!!!

HI,

I have just seen this thread and wonder if this issue was ever resolved?  I have just started with ACAD Mechanical 2019 and in the current drawing I created a polar array without issue, but when I went to create another this marvelous disappearing trick occurred!  I lose both the array and the source object.  I try to select them (albeit they are hidden), but there is nothing to select.

Good morning.
I had the same problem and found another way to “fix” it (for some reasons I cannot use the WBLOCK solution):
1. I am on a DWG where ARRAY does not work. In practice, the array is created, but you can't see it. How to check it? Select any object and go to Quick Select. Then Apply to: Entire Drawing; Object Type: Array (or Array Polar); Operator: Select All; How to Apply: Include in new selection set -> OK.

2. All the arrays in the drawing should be selected. In my case, the incorrectly created (invisible) array was also selected.
3. Having the “ incorrect” array selected: grab the handle of the object and try to move it - in my case, moving the “invisible” objects of the array fixes it.
