Aligning drawings not working

Hi,

I am using Autocad Lt 2013 and am currently having issues with aligning a drawing with coordinates. Every time I align a drawing using coordinates it snaps to completely different coordinates. I have tried putting in 3 lots of eastings and northings as well as just putting in 2 but it still coordinates the drawing incorrectly.

My coordinates that I have been putting in start with 523 but when I align the drawing the coordinates show as starting with 210 - completely different.

Has anyone else had the same problem or know if there's any way I can rectify this? I have tried this several times of different drawings and still the drawing is aligning to the wrong coordinates (I can't find a logical reason as to why). Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

It's not clear what you're doing - neither 523 nor 210 are coordinates.

Try to explain exactly what you do.

I could imagine different causes. The best way to get useful help: Upload the drawing (you can delete as much as you think is necessary) so we don't have to guess so much.

Hi, apologies I have included a screenshot of the .dwg i am trying to coordinate.

I have shown 2 of the coordinates that relate to 2 piles on the .dwg below. Usually I am able to 'align' the .dwg and type in the coordinates (whether it be 2 or 3) of the relevant points on the drawing and CAD will coordinate accordingly. The problem I'm having is that once I have put in the coordinates using the 'align' command CAD coordinates the .dwg completely wrong. As you can see in the screenshot below my coordinates start with 523 and this should not change, however when I check the coordinates on CAD after aligning the .dwg they are completely wrong and do not match at all (start with 210).

On multiple attempts the drawing even flipped on the x axis (although this was done with only 2 reference points). I have tried using the align command to coordinate the .dwg on another computer with Autocad Lt 2013 and this worked fine - the coordinates were correct, but it just appears to be on my computer where the issue occurs.

... coordinates start with 523 .

Ok, now I understand . Excuse my previous misunderstanding.

A picture doesn't help us to explore the problem. Upload a .dwg please (delete all what we must not see).

And show us a snipping of your Textbox, so we can see your inputs.

A first idea (shot into the dark): Turn off Dynamic Input (if currently ON).

First set UCS to World and try again.  Also, ..

To force World coordinates use an asterisk (*) in front of the coordinates.

*523nnn, 180nnn
