Align grip attaches to hatch within block

There is an issue with the align tool that will snap to hatch patterns that are contained within blocks.

exploding the block is fine, but when you have a block with an align parameter and another block with a hatch pattern, the align grip will snap to the hatch pattern.

I have raised this issue previously and tried to submit a query to Autodesk with no avail.

Paying thousands for a yearly subscription, so I'd expect some communication.

Is it just 1 point on the hatch? I think it could be the base point or something similar. You can check "block authoring palettes".

if it is the snapping to any hatch, this may be what you are looking for:

Thank you for your reply. I went through that thread thank you, but it did not solve the issue.

I have attached a basic example of my issue here.

the left is a block and the right is a hatched area  which should explain the issue when trying to align.

"ignore hatch objects" is ticked under 'Options>Drafting' on my setup yet the issue persists.

Thanks

Works just fine for me. I can only snap on the corners of the rectangle. I attached my setting.

try what you think is a related setting and maybe reboot your PC before you check again.

btw, I can snap on the hatch-like on the bottom since it is not technically hatch as per checking.
