AGE Command/Exporting

Hello,

I work with 80/20 Aluminum extrusion on AutoCAD through the AutoQuoter XII software. I've continually had issues exporting .dwg files to .iges formats, and I'm not sure how to solve them.

- Exporting causes each component to become one single components, rather than individuals

- Running the "AGE" command to take the frame components down to their basic form doesn't always work and I get this message

 - Most of my customers used Solid Works, so importing/exporting has become increasingly more difficult

Can someone help me out?

Hi @Anonymous,

Can you share one of your AutoCAD drawing files? I would like to see how it is constructed and the results I get when I do  an export to IGES.  Also, do you see the same error if you remove the AutoQuoter II plugin?

Please select the Accept as Solution button if my post solves your issue or answers your question.
