I used Hunter package before to help with shop drawings for HVAC systems. I am just wondering if there are more developed addon/software that can assist with HVAC shop drawings (ie, duct tags, levels, fittings, etc...)

The Autodesk App Store offers many addon options for HVAC, see the link below:
Also, the AutoCAD MEP toolset offers many options when design and draft HVAC systems.
