ACAD 2016 Tool Palette Text Height Issue

Morning All,

I have done an extensive amount of research trying to find an answer to why my text is too large on my tool palette. See screenshot below.

i have gone into all my Display settings without any luck.

I have right-clicked in the tool palette, clicked on Options, and still no luck.

Any ideas?

AutoCAD lags behind in supporting higher resolution displays (even though their system requirements page says it can handle them).  There are several work-arounds for this.  Search this forum for "4K resolution" to see countless threads about this issue already.

You can also lower your resolution on your display.

I can across this article/solution yesterday when doing research on my problem.

Tried it without any luck.

The image you posted initially sure looks like the issue "pendean" gave you a link to.
Make sure that your screen resolution is lower than 2000dpi horizontally and make sure scaling is 100%. I recognize that you have indicated that you checked some things but the image is exactly what I see on some of my student laptops. Adobe also has this issue with 4K and UltraHD displays. The workaround posted by "nrz13" helps a little but not completely.
Have a look at your properties palette and your ACAD start tab. They too should look crazy and that indicates all the issues due to high res display.

Many thanks to "blyoung" - setting my resolution to 1980x1020 and setting the scaling to 100% fixed my issue!

I have an Alienware 13 that I just got and the screen resolution can go all the way up to 3200x1800(Recommended) which is where I had it set.

I really enjoyed how precise everything looked on that resolution compared to this new setting but I guess you can't have both yet - something for Autodesk to think about.

I also am running two (2) external displays that I had to adjust the resolutions on as well but everything looks like it should.

I sure hope Autodesk and Adobe get to work on this! It's been an issue since the 2013 release.
