aCAD 2014: selection disappears while panning

Hi,

I've got a problem in AutoCAD 2014.

After I selected elements like polylines and want to pan in the drawing, my selection disappears and I have to select my selection all over again.

What could be the problem?

Are you panning with the middle mouse button or the PAN command?

If I highlight some objects in plain AotoCAD 2013 and use the middle mouse button to pan the objects stay highligted. If I type the pan command or select it from a menu or toolbar the objects un-highlight as soon as I start panning. Is this what happens for you?

It's been around since the dawn of AutoCAD: it happens, there is no real way around it. Sometimes it helps if you REGENALL before you start selecting and panning, sometimes it helps if you launch a command first, sometimes zooming out first to see "everything", then zooming in to select and start panning helps.
But there is no magic solution or fix: you just need to experiment and discover what works in your file.

Try turning Section Cycling to Off
