Acad 2004 in Longbow Converter not stable

I recently installed Acad 2004 in Win10 via the new Longbow Converter. This seemed to work until shortly (minutes) afterwards I noticed that the cursor jumped from place to place. And, the jump distance increased quickly while working within the file (I tried several other files). This occurs in the work window ONLY, not in any of the surrounding command bars. I have tried everything I've read within this forum, including resetting AutoCAD to the defaults.

I am perplexed! What must I do to correct this challenge?

I welcome all suggestions.

Thank you,

Roy

Hi and Welcome to AutoCAD Forum,

>> I recently installed Acad 2004 in Win10 via the new Longbow Converter. <<

2014 and older versions of AutoCAD and AutoCAD-based verticals will not be supported on Windows 10. this the fact with this very old CAD version ( 15 years old ) . don't waste your time and try to install new versions to be in the right way .

Thank you Imad.

That is not the answer I hoped for, but it is what it is. Perhaps I
should return to WinXP Pro? Are you aware of any problems if I do so?

Best regards,

Roy
