A problem exploding text around an arc. My text becomes too big when exploded.

Hi,

When I explode text around an arc using Home / Explode command the text width becomes a lot bigger than I want it too.

My text width is starting at 3.7655mm and when I use the explode command the text width goes to 7.6345mm. 

How can I explode the text around the arc and keep the 3.7655mm width dimension?

 I have attached a few photos to help explain my question.

Does anyone know of any tutorials that would help me learn the process of putting text around an arc?

I have checked YouTube with no success. 

Any help is much appreciated as I am becoming frustrated.

Hi, 

I try your issue and I didn't find such a problem ( see below image ) . I suggest to check the text height from  your text style ( Style command ) and make it current . if not solved please attache  your .dwg sample here ?
