Will someday autocad support correctly 4k screens???

Eventually: when? no one here is ever going to tell you.

For now AutoCAD is not designed for high-res monitors. AutoCAD through version 2017 only runs on displays set to 1920x1080 (also try 2560x1440 and up to 2560x1600 if you have that option) and at 100% text scaling (no more than 125% text scaling). It will not look good on 4k displays settings on modern PCs and laptops 😞

Ok, I got it. However, in a near future does Autocad will sopport properly 4k monitors?

What he means is that Autodesk is a publicly traded corporation and they do not discuss future plans.

If the use of 4K displays becomes more widespread, why wouldn't they? It would be silly not to.

It's likely to happen, but no one knows when. Sit tight and wait like all the rest of us.

Or if you don't want to wait, switch to a competitive application that does support the features you want/need.

AutoCAD fo MAC, in MacOS, supports Apple's 5k displays. No software to buy, just log into the subscription portal an get the MAC version.

I did read in a similar post that an AutoCAD update was released today that should address this issue, but am awaiting user confirmation that it works

It does not specifically say anything about 4k, but read it for yourself and give it a try.

I have been somewhat successful with this work around with Autocad Architecture 2017 and every other application that has display issues.

The Autocad Start screen doesn't work properly, but I just click the + tab to start a new drawing.  Then Everything seems groovy.

The workaround fails in WIn10Pro...

All of our computers are Windows 10 Pro. It should work.

I add the setting to the Registry.

I add the manifest file to the exe location.

It worked on (3) Intel Nuc computers and one Dell XPS15 all running Win10Pro.

This was before the 2017.1 update was available.  I will continue to test when I get some time.
