3D CURVED CORNICE _ 3D PRINT

Hi guys this is my first time posting on the Autodesk forum. Basically, I would like to 3d design this cornice on a rounded surface. I drew the cornice just to give you an idea of what the end result will look like. I already tried sweeping a 2d profile but it's not ideal. Any ideas, please?

What's "not ideal" about SWEEPing the profile?  That or EXTRUDE along a Path are pretty much your choices.

Revolve may give you the results you want. If the profile is a closed shape you will get a solid from which you can output an STL file for 3D printing.  You'll need to specify where the axis of revolution is and the amount of rotation (e.g., 90°).
