3D Basic vs 3D modeling

When I click on workspace switching button at the bottom, I see options for 3D basic and 3D modeling. My understanding is 3D basic is a subset of 3D modeling. Am I correct?

And what are the differences between the two?

What do you see when you click each one in your Ribbon and other options? That's the difference. Try it, post back if you still want to know more and detail what your expectations are.

Nothing is set in concrete in AutoCAD: you can pretty much see and hide whatever you want.

can I get an other answer form someone who doesn't pretend he doesn't understand my question? I have enough intelligence to compare both menus, and i saw some differences and some similarities but what is the whole point? and is 3D basics a complete subset of 3D modeling or no? at least answer that please

3D Basic, you draw 3d objects and add dimensions, text, etc......Early Autocad came out like that.

Later, Autodesk add a whole new 3D modeling workspace so you can do a lot more related to 3d.

That is why.

Since your first post was not detailed enough, and you still cannot explain what you seek in any detail, how about answering these questions:

What else do you want to know if you've already seen differences? Elaborate please.
And what is the nature of your query: are you trying to resolve an issue? Or is this an academic inquiry for a paper you are writing?

What year version and variant of AutoCAD are you using?
