2d piping and valve blocks

Hi all I am in desperate need of piping and valve blocks for project i am planing at the moment.I have spent the last 16 hours looking and have not yet found any thing remotely usable please can some one steer me in the right direction for some free blocks

am looking for the amri butterfly valve I have requested the file from ksb
but ineed to get finished with this today or I am going to be late for

Hi, may be you should try AutoCAD Plant 3D, It´s an excellent program for what you want. On the other hand, you can look into Saint Gobain web page, I remember that they have all the valves you need in AutoCAD blockwith real measures.

Perhaps a relatively inexpensive application that will draw 2D valves and piping would serve your needs:

Have a look at ParaPIPE

It costs less than 16 hours of searching for sure.

Individual 2D blocks are uncommon, as are libraries.  In fact, there isn't much done as 2D in conventional piping these days, outside of some plumbing work (and even then, programs like Revit are being used).  Far more productive to do as hencoop suggested and find a third-party package which will not only provide symbols but also the tools to use them.

It appears that you can create a CAD model on the KSB site.  If you are looking for a 2D schematic type of symbol, can you sketch it and show me what you are looking for? Perhaps I can draw this for you or show you how to do it.
